Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between Edgard Gomes Adarme (e.gomez.s@hotmail.com, CUIL 20-60482162-3, Argentina, Buenos Aires) and you. By accessing or using TypeStr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms, revise the Effective date, and may provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

The Services

TypeStr provides a browser extension and dashboard that enable voice-to-text and AI-assisted rewriting for web text fields. Features, limits, availability, and supported environments may change over time as we improve the Services.

Service updates and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available, and we are not liable for any modification or discontinuation.

Account creation and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account deletion

If you choose to delete your account, you may lose access to your settings and subscription history. We may retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Permitted use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services
• interfere with or disrupt the Services or their infrastructure
• circumvent security or usage limits
• use the Services to violate laws or third-party rights
• submit harmful, abusive, or illegal content

Subscriptions and billing

TypeStr offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Billing is handled by Paddle and/or Stripe, depending on your checkout flow.

Payments, taxes, and fees

You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your payment method for subscription fees. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may update pricing with notice, and changes apply to the next billing period. If your payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is completed.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds follow the same policy as Grammarly. Manage cancellation here:

Trials and promotions

We may offer promotional pricing or trials. Eligibility and terms will be communicated at the time of offer. Promotions may be modified or canceled at any time.

Usage limits

Certain plans may include usage limits or fair-usage policies. If you exceed limits, we may reduce availability, request an upgrade, or limit access until the next billing period.

User content and AI output

You own your content. TypeStr does not store the text you submit for processing, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Feedback and analytics

If you provide feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for improving the Services. We collect high-level usage analytics (such as domain and mode) to improve reliability and feature adoption. We do not collect or store your text content.

Third-party services

The Services may integrate with or rely on third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

License to use the Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

Intellectual property

TypeStr, its software, branding, and interfaces are owned by TypeStr. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, nor do we warrant that the Services will meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TypeStr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to TypeStr in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TypeStr harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, CABA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of CABA, Argentina, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Dispute resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Please write to support@typestr.click with a brief description of the issue. We will respond within a reasonable time and try to resolve the matter in good faith.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights or obligations under these Terms without restriction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, natural disasters, or third-party service failures.

Entire agreement

These Terms and any referenced policies constitute the entire agreement between you and TypeStr regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
